Shankar comes from a family of musicians in Palghat, the music land of India. In 2006 he left a banking career in Bangalore to sing full-time — and never looked back.
Two decades on, his sound blends the playfulness of Kishore Kumar, the romance of Rafi, and the energy of today's biggest voices — Arijit Singh, Sonu Nigam, Shaan — backed by one of Bangalore's finest live orchestras. His shows are managed by the music company Seasons.
